Confidence score

What is confidence score?

A confidence score is a measure, attached to each extracted field or match, of how certain the software is that the value is correct. In order automation, every header field, every line field and every catalogue match can carry its own score.

Values above a threshold flow through automatically; values below it are shown to a person to confirm. Scores are useful because they are per field: one uncertain quantity does not make a whole order untrustworthy.

Why it matters

Without a confidence score, a team must either check everything or trust everything. Per-field scores let people spend attention only where the software is unsure, and let the business decide how cautious it wants to be.

How Weeva handles it

Every field Weeva extracts and every match it makes carries a confidence score. You set the threshold. Anything below it is routed to human review, and the correction trains the model so the same case is handled automatically next time.
